Custom Brass Stamp “Pursuit of Robbers After a Bank Robbery”

Art in Microns: The Creation of the “Pursuit of Robbers” Stamp

At Lavriv Studio, we believe that an embossing tool is more than just a piece of brass. It is a technological bridge between digital design and tactile art. Our “Pursuit of Robbers” project serves as a true manifesto of precision, where every square millimeter of metal tells a story of the Old West.

Creating a dynamic chase scene on the limited surface of a stamp is a challenge that borders on fine jewelry making. We refused to simplify the artwork, preserving the character of every detail—from the tensed muscles of the horses to the smallest elements of the riders’ gear.

Our Path to Perfection:

– Micron-Level Precision: The use of micron tolerances during brass machining allowed us to achieve a level of clarity that previously seemed impossible for hot embossing. Every line, as fine as a human hair, is perfectly transferred from the digital model to the metal.
– Digital Sculpture: We don’t just draw lines; we model relief. By combining ArtCam and Fusion 360, we calculate the draft angles of every face. This ensures that the stamp not only looks detailed but also “releases” the leather cleanly after embossing, without damaging its fibers.
– Multi-Level Depth: Unlike standard flat dies, this stamp features a complex 3D hierarchy. This creates a unique volumetric effect: the foreground appears bold and massive, while background details remain subtle and airy, making the final imprint feel “alive.”

A Result You Can Feel

The “Pursuit of Robbers” brass stamp is a fusion of metallic durability and graphic elegance. It was designed for those who value premium detailing and wish to give their products a unique, exclusive character.
